MNAA was reestablished in 2019. The board and volunteers have been working to get the MNAA up off the ground in order to support education, policy, business, and communication around aquaculture in MN.

In this time with little funding our volunteer board and associates have formed partnerships with regional organizations, advocated for policy changes and aquaculture funding at the state level, and held workshops and conferences to provide education, networking, and best management practices.
